Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is basically about Maron Kusakabe, who is 16, is the reincarnation of Jeanne d'Arc. With the help of angel Fin Fish, who was sent to help her, Maron transforms into Kaitou Jeanne. She seals demons who posses those with a beautiful heart though pieces of art. Kaitou Jeanne does this by throwing a push pin into the work of art and turns the demon to a white chess piece. Maron's best friend, Miyako Todaiji, is the daughter of a police officer and is dedicated to catching Kaitou Jeanne, not knowing what Jeanne does is sealing demons, not stealing art. Though, Jeanne has a rival, Kaitou Sinbad with his helper angel, Access Time. Kaitou Sinbad is really Chiaki Nagoya, who loves Maron, and she is unsure of her feelings for him. In the end, Maron finds out the truth, and realizes that she's not alone after all.
