The manga is basically about a boy, Daisuke, who on his 14th birthday wrote a letter to the girl he likes, but she refuses it. Daisuke finds out that when ever he starts to long for the girl he loves, he transforms into the Phantom Thief, Dark. The only way this will stop is for his love to be returned.
